Estimate your Roblox AI Game Maker cost
Enter how many prompts you expect to send in a month and the model you plan to use. The estimate shows roughly how many credits that is and the cheapest way to cover it.
Credit packs: 2 × 21 credits for $9.98. Pack credits never expire.
Estimates use typical prompt sizes. Big builds that write whole systems use more; small tweaks use less.
How Roblox AI Game Maker credits work
Each build is charged by what the AI actually used, down to 0.01 credits. Small tweaks cost less, whole new systems cost more.
A typical prompt on a $ model costs about 0.05 to 0.20 credits. Automatic playtest fixes are part of the same build.
If a build reaches its step limit, you can press Continue to keep going. Continuing costs credits for the extra steps.
AI models and credits per prompt
Pick the model in the plugin. Cheaper models are fine for tweaks; the advanced ones are better at whole systems and tricky bugs.

Which model should I pick?
Start with the recommended model. It handles most mechanics, like breakable trees, checkpoints or a dropper, for a few hundredths of a credit each.
Use the free model for small changes when you want to save credits: renaming, recoloring, tweaking a number. It is slower and limited per day, but costs nothing.
Switch to a $$ or Pro model for bigger jobs, such as a whole game loop in one prompt, or a bug the cheaper model could not fix. You can change the model in the plugin at any time, even in the middle of a project.
What uses credits
Each prompt runs as a short build: the AI reads the parts of your place it needs, writes scripts and objects, starts a playtest, reads the output and fixes errors. The credits for a prompt cover all of those steps.
Reading your game, writing long scripts and fixing several errors use more; changing one value uses less. The plugin shows what each prompt cost right after it finishes, and your balance is always visible in the panel.
Prompts sent from this website to your Studio are charged the same way, when the plugin runs them.
What a prompt costs in practice
In our own tests, a typical mechanic prompt on GPT-5.6 Luna used 0.04 to 0.06 credits, including the playtest. Similar prompts on Claude Haiku 5.5 used between 0.07 and 0.14 credits. At those rates, the 2 credits you get when you sign up cover roughly 15 to 50 prompts, enough to build a small game loop and see whether the tool fits how you work.
Costs grow with the size of the job, not with the length of your sentence. A prompt that has to read a large existing game, write several scripts and fix a few errors in the playtest costs more than one that changes a color. If you want to save credits, ask for one mechanic at a time, use the free model for small tweaks, and keep the advanced models for the hard parts.
Roblox AI Game Maker pricing FAQ
Is Roblox AI Game Maker free?
Yes. The Studio plugin is free, new accounts get 2 credits, and there is a free model you can use every day without spending credits. No card is needed to start.
What is a credit?
Credits pay for the AI's work. Each prompt is charged by what the AI actually used, down to 0.01 credits, so a small tweak costs less than a whole new system.
Do credits expire?
Sign-up credits and credit pack credits never expire. Pro's monthly credits come with the subscription, and the daily bonus credit stacks up to 5 if you do not use it.
What do I get with Pro?
40 credits every month, a bonus credit every day that stacks up to 5, faster builds, longer builds before you need to press Continue, more active projects, and Pro-only models.
What happens when I run out of credits?
You can keep using the free model, buy a credit pack, or upgrade to Pro. Your projects and scripts stay in your Studio place either way.
Does a failed build cost credits?
Credits pay for the AI's work on a prompt, including its playtest and fixes. If a result is not what you wanted, press Ctrl+Z in Studio to undo it and describe the change differently.
Why does the same prompt cost different amounts?
The AI decides how much of your place to read and how many steps a build needs. A busier place, a longer script or an extra fix in the playtest means more work, so the charge moves a little from prompt to prompt.
Do prompts sent from the website cost more?
No. A prompt you send from this site runs in your Studio through the plugin and is charged exactly like one typed in the plugin.
Is there a free trial of Pro?
There is no trial. The free plan is the trial: 2 credits, the free model every day and the full plugin, so you can see how it works before paying.
Can I cancel Pro?
Yes, any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal. See the refund policy for details.
Subscriptions, cancellations and refunds are covered in the refund policy.
